Uno dare puts a new spin on the classic colorful numbered card game, in this version players can up their gameplay with the addition of dare cards.
What you get in the game box:
You get 4 dare list cards with the game however, you can only use one dare card per game. Each dare card represents a different category of dares, such as House Rules. Where you fill in the blanks on the cards with your own rules.
So choose one dare card you want to play with, next all the players draw one card from the deck. the player who gets the highest number becomes the dealer.
Now, the dealer will shuffle the deck and deal 7 cards to each player and place the remaining card deck face up to form a Draw pile.
The last step is to turn over the top card of the draw pile to form a discard pile.
Dare Card
You can only play this card on another dare card or the same color card. When this card is played, the next player has to decide either draw 2 cards or do the dare that shown on the card.
The card only has a number printed on them, to find the dare, you have to see your dare card List.
If the dare card is the first card of the discard pile. The player to the left of the dealer must draw 2 cards or do the dare.
When a player chooses to do a dare instead of drawing 2 cards, they must complete the dare. If they fail in doing the dare successfully. Then, they must draw 2 cards as a penalty.
You will find many subjective dares on the dare list. So to decide if the dare is successfully completed, all the players must agree on that.
Wild Dare Card
When this card is played, the next player must decide either, draw 2 cards, or do they dare shown on the card.
If the first card on the discard pile is a dare card, then the player sitting on the left of the dealer, draw 2 cards or complete a dare.
It’s the same as the dare card, however, the player who plays this card gets to
choose the color that continues to play.
Skip Card
You can only play this card on another skip card or the same color card. When you play this card, the next player must skip their turn.
If the skip card is the first card of the discard pile, the player to the left of the dealer, skip his/her turn.
Reverse Card
You can only play this card on another reverse card or the same color card. When you play this card, the game direction reverse.
This means usually the game moves to the left, but after someone plays this card, the card would start moving in the right direction.
For example; if you play this card, then the player to your left does not get their turn, instead the player sitting on your right plays.
If the reverse card is the first card of the discard pile, then the dealer goes first and the game moves to the player sitting on the right instead of left.
The player sitting on the left of the dealer goes first. From there the game proceeds in a clockwise direction.
A player may only play a card if the card on their hand matches the top card of the discard pile either by color or number.
You can also play a wild card, the wild card gives you the power to change the current color in play.
When a player does not have a matching card to play. They may draw one card from the draw pile. If that card is playable.
The player can use that card in the same turn or decide to use the card later.
The first player to discard all of their cards and yell “Uno” gets points for all of the cards remaining in the opponent’s hands.
If you forget to yell “Uno” and someone catches you. Then, you get a penalty to draw 2 cards.
Scoring of points are as follow:
The first player to score 500 points wins the game.
The way is recommended by Mattle games, instead of calculating the score at the end of the game. Calculate each player’s points after each round.
And when any player score 500 points, the player with the lowest score wins the game.
